Olay Touch of Foundation

You know that moment when you apply a new product and it's love at first application? It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it's amazing. That's what happened the first time I applied Olay's Touch of Foundation.

This feels so lovely on my skin. The feel is hydrating, creamy and luxurious. It has a soft, pretty fragrance that makes me think of flowers. All of these things combine to make it a beautiful product to apply. I don't think I've ever said that about a face moisturiser before, but it's true.
Initially I thought this would be like a tinted moisturiser but it's not. I find it to be more like a Blemish Balm than a tinted moisturiser. Compared to a tinted moisturiser it gives more coverage and is more hydrating. The best way I can think of to describe this is; imagine a hydrating foundation. The coverage is like a sheer to medium foundation, however it is quickly absorbed and blends into my skin so that I don't look like I'm wearing foundation.
As you can see from the photo this comes in a 50ml pump bottle and has an SPF of 15.
I have the fair shade and it's perfect for my NC20 skin. As the colour is quite sheer and blendable I think this would work well for a good range of different skin tones.
You can see in the photo above that it blends in well with my skin tone even when it's not rubbed in.

Will I buy this? Yes, when mine runs out, before mine runs out I'll be buying another one to replace it.

Touch of Foundation costs $14.69 for a 50ml pump bottle.

  1. I've never heard of this before but it looks really nice - something I might have to try out after my P20P!

    1. It's only new and totally lovely. I've seen it at Priceline and Woolworth so far.
