As I expected, I love the new Idealist. It's a beautiful product that makes my skin feel amazing. It has a lovely subtle shimmer that is not detectable once on my skin, but it makes my skin look instantly luminous and brighter.
This is a serum that's used underneath moisturiser. It is oil free, light and sinks in quickly. Once it's applied it feels weightless on my skin. For the first twelve weeks I used it morning and night, then after twelve weeks I just used it in the morning.
After using Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator for about four weeks I noticed that my dark spots were getting lighter. I've now finished the whole bottle and whilst my spots are lighter there isn't a huge difference. I'm happy though because the spots are reduced and I'm sure with continued use they will get lighter and lighter.
If there is one thing I could change about Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator it would be the bottle. The bottle is gorgeous but there is no way to see how much product is left. It'd be great if there was an indicator strip on the bottle that showed when it was nearly empty.
Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator costs $105 for a 30ml bottle and $150 for a 50ml bottle.
This product was provided to me for consideration.
I was sent a bottle of this from Beauty Heaven and I LOVED it. I'm not a fan of Advanced Night Repair at all but I do love CP+ Perfectionist, so I could have gone either way on this one.
ReplyDeleteNormally I wouldn't consider buying an EL serum unless there was a really good GWP or I had birthday money or something because it's ridiculously expensive, but I would totally shell out for this one again.
I really like this also Glossy.
ReplyDeleteWould it reduce redness/sun spots?
ReplyDeleteDee and Karen, it's beautiful isn't it?
ReplyDeleteKarina, I have slight redness on my nose and it didn't make any permanent difference to that. It does make my skin look better and the redness reduced when I wear it, but it's purely a cosmetic effect.
I so nearly bought this duty free at LAX but went with Lancome Visionaire instead. This looked great though, it will have to be on my future purchase list.
